I know that our focus here at NextStepU is college, career and life planning. But there’s always room for some fun. And one of the most exciting times in high school is prom!
So I have to share this contest that I heard about yesterday from the folks at VERGO Marketing — the Ultimate Prom $25,000 Giveaway.
The contest — VERGO Marketing’s fifth rendition of Grand Canyon University’s WintheUltimateProm.com — awards one high school $25,000 in cash for their school’s prom or other school event.
To participate, students as well as their friends, family and community members who are at least 13 years old can register on WintheUltimateProm.com and vote for their school to win once a day, every day for their school. The school with the most cumulative votes at the end of the contest wins the $25,000.
Registration starts Sept. 1 and voting runs from Oct. 1 to Nov. 30. Winners will be announced on or about Dec. 15.
