With a student-to-faculty ratio of 14:1, and an average class size of 25 students, you are sure to get one-on-one attention from your professors at this small, public university. West Liberty University is West Virginia’s oldest institution of higher education, founded in 1837.

Academics

Offering more than 70 different programs of study, at WLU, you are sure to find what you’re looking for. This university prides itself in the success of its students, and the personal attention professors are able to give each student. You are not just another number here. One of the most popular majors at WLU is education, but you will also find majors such as accounting, journalism, sociology, and so on. If you would like to continue your education after undergrad, WLU offers a number of graduate degree programs as well.

Campus life

At WLU you will find Greek life, honors clubs, music clubs, and other special interest groups. Tuition

Tuition for in-state residents costs $3,351 plus roughly $4,405 for room and board. Tuition for out-of- state residents costs $7,056 plus room and board.
