The list of safest colleges & universities

But, do you look at the campus safety records before you make your decision? StateUniversity.com released its annual list of the safest colleges and universities in the U.S. and we thought it would be important to put safety on campus on your radar.

StateUniversity.com utilized Cleary and FBI data to rank the 1,407 colleges and universities and assign safety ratings. Their ratings are based on: number of weapon occurrences, drugs, burglary, vehicle theft, arson, larceny, robbery, forcible and non-forcible rape, murder and non-negligent manslaughter, and aggravated assault.

• Ursuline College (Pepper Pike, OH)
• Brigham Young University-Idaho (Rexburg, ID)
• Massachusetts School of Law (Andover, MA)
