My dream is to get into Harvard or Stanford, but I think those are risky to choose as my main college. I am currently using many “college finder” websites to look for a back-up colleges;so far my two back-ups are Oklahoma University and Richmond American London University.

Congrats, Wesley!!! Email editor@nextSTEPmag.com your shipping address and we’ll send your prize out to you!!

I found Ben Kaplan’s How to Go to College Almost For Free a VERY helpful resource in my college journey. In addition, Ben Kaplan also has several other books that are great resources for any one (at any age level) that is planning for college.

The Fiske Guide to Colleges is a great book that gives a thorough overview of pretty much all of the colleges in the US. It is a great resource to use when staring the college search process.

YOUniversityTV.com is a great website to find colleges to go to. With the videos they have it makes it easy to view a college if the trip is to far for some. Furthermore, there are vidoes that tell exactly what a specific career does and how to get into it’s work force.

I agree that the Fiske guide is helpful, but I really wish it had more student reviews. Has anyone found college planning books that have more of those?
