If I were to have a choice, I would totally choose a futon. Why? I love sleep as much as I love a beautiful-looking report card — naps will be my only choice between intense study sessons that I am going to have in college. The futon looks soft and fuzzy, it is certainly ideal for a poor tiredsome college student to nap on. On top of that, it seems like an awesome gear to have for three girls who will be living, chatting, and working hard together 😉

I’m going to be living in the residential dorms of UCLA. Not only am i excited to attend UCLA, but the possibility to win a mini-futon or trunk. If i magically win, i plan to place the futon directly next to the door so i can fall asleep on a comfy futon after a long day as a athlete and student. The trunk would be on the left side of the bed to store before-bed books, alarm clocks, and other college items that we “need”. I promise they will be put to good use 😉
This trunk would be super helpful with moving into my dorm when I start at ASU this fall. I’m sure my roommate would also appreciate the extra seating (and sleep space for sleepovers?) for company provided by a futon.

I’m currently going into my junior year, and I’m going to a new dorm. I would love this trunk because I’ve got one handed down by my sister (7 years older) and it’s obviously been through some extremely tough times. It’s practically falling apart. I’ll be traveling to the Illinois Institute of Technology in Chicago this fall, hopefully with a new trunk or futon! I will be living in San Diego California in my own apartment!! Paying for everything on my own is going to be a tough one, but it’s an adventure I’m willing to take. I’m going to MiraCosta College and then I’ll be transferring to a university to study Music Therapy.

These two awesome pieces would fit perfectly in my future apartment style dorm as a sophomore at the University of New Haven Connecticut. These pieces will be key in our apartment style dorm that will definitely be needing some furniture. They would be perfect for our living room area ! Traveling from Texas to Connecticut make it more difficult to purchase things in advance. This would greatly relieve the burden of shopping last minute a few days before school starts .
I would use the trunk or futon in my dorm at Michigan State next year. The trunk would be perfect to store blankets/extra clothes and would make a nice coffee table. The futon would be an awesome extra seat and matches the rug I have already!

I’m staying at home for college, but I’ll be renovating my sister’s old room in our house and move into it. That’s where the trunk will go! While I’m in my more minuscule room, I have time to plan out exactly how I want my new bedroom to look. I’ll be in it for the next two years until I transfer, so I’m taking the time to make it awesome! And when I transfer the trunk will travel with me. Or the futon!
I currently live in North Carolina but this fall I will move to Wisconsin to go to Carthage College. I am ecstatic about going. These would be perfect for my dorm at A&M! I can never have too much storage space – the trunk would definitely help with that. And what better place to sit and relax or even study than a mini futon? The desk chairs aren’t all that comfortable and the bed’s for sleeping. Plus, more than one person could fit on it. These would be a great addition for me and my roommate.

I will be living at home while I go to college, until I can afford an apartment, and then if I win, I will travel with my trunk or futon to said apartment.
This coming year, I’ll be a junior at Kennesaw State University, and my three roommates and I have a small, apartment-style dorm that we share. We don’t have too much room OR too much furniture to speak of, and at times, if the couch in the living room is occupied, it can be a little frustrating finding somewhere to sit. The mini-futon would be a perfect solution for that! The trunk, of course, is wonderful as well, since it can slide under the bed and hold everything that doesn’t fit anywhere else, or simply things that aren’t wise to have in plain sight. Both are great and it would be awesome to have them as an addition to the thrills of college living!
