We wanted to know what a typical day at college is like, so we asked Tyler Printy, a second-year welding student at Rowan Cabarrus Community College, to fill us in.
7 a.m.: Wake up, take a shower, eat breakfast. 7:15: Leave for school. 8: Get to school and go to Shielded Metal Arc Welding (SMAW). Noon: Go on lunch break. 1 p.m.: Come back from lunch and go back to class. 2:30: Get out of class and head home. 3: Get home and take a shower and get ready for work at Bloomscape Landscaping. 3:30: Go to work. 9:30: Get off work and head to a friend’s house. 1 a.m.: Get home, go to sleep and do it all again the next day.
