It offers certificate, associate, bachelor’s, master’s and doctoral degrees. It’s within short traveling distance to Pittsburgh, Cleveland and Buffalo. It is located in Pennsylvania’s fourth largest city and one of the busiest ports on the Great Lakes. Gannon’s urban campus has unique facilities that create a special atmosphere conducive to learning, research, scholarship, service and personal growth and development.

Gannon places a heavy emphasis on student involvement and services. The strong culture of academic quality and integrity is reflected in the employability of Gannon’s graduates.

Recently, Gannon students performed nearly 79,000 hours of community service in northwest Pennsylvania, Appalachia, Central America and Haiti.

Gannon offers nearly 100 academic programs in the health professions, engineering, business, education, social sciences and the humanities in the University’s three Colleges: Engineering and Business, Health Professionals and Sciences and Humanities, Education and Social Science.

Gannon competes in 18 varsity sports for men and women as a member of NCAA Division II and the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference. In addition, students at Gannon have the opportunity to participate in a number of different intramural sports including flag football, basketball, wiffleball and dodgeball among others.

More than 90 percent of Gannon students qualify for financial assistance. They offer a variety of scholarships, grants and awards that recognize academic and athletic accomplishments, outstanding talents and demonstrated need.

U.S. News & World Report’s “America’s Best Colleges” continues to cite Gannon as a top tier university in the northern region of the United States. Gannon has also been ranked in the annual guide’s Great Schools, Great Prices category, which affirms Gannon’s mission of providing quality education at an affordable price.
