Well, for those who have, there is new evidence out there that says you are actually hurting yourself by cheating the system. According to new findings published this month in the Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences, researchers from Harvard Business School and Duke University found that “one of the hidden costs of cheating is that it can deceive cheaters into thinking that their higher scores are actually a sign of intelligence,” as reported in USA Today.
Sure it may be tempting to cheat and take the easy way out, but you’re hurting yourself in the long run. So instead of cheating develop some healthy study habits! You’ll thank yourself because you will be better prepared for life after school!
