You may have found that many scholarships have deadlines in April or May. Make sure to quickly apply to those that are going to stop taking applications. But, these two have a little bit longer until their deadlines! Check them out if you have an interest in a career in interactive entertainment.

 

• RANDY PAUSCH SCHOLARSHIP FUND
Awards two $2,500 scholarships

This scholarship has been established to support students who are pursuing careers specializing in the development of interactive entertainment.  Possible career paths for Randy Pausch applicants include (but are not limited to) art, animation, programming, engineering, game direction, game design, sound design, and music composition.

Scholarship submissions for the 2013-2014 academic year are now open. Please click here to download the application form for the Randy Pausch scholarship. Submissions must be postmarked by June 28, 2013 to be eligible.

 

• MARK BEAUMONT SCHOLARSHIP FUND
Awards two $2,500 scholarships

This scholarship has been established to support students who are pursuing careers specializing in the business of interactive entertainment.  Possible career paths for Mark Beaumont applicants include (but are not limited to) executive leadership, law, marketing, public relations, and business development.

Scholarship submissions for the 2013-2014 academic year are now open. Please click here to download the application form for the Mark Beaumont scholarship. Submissions must be postmarked by June 28, 2013 to be eligible.

To qualify for these scholarships, applicants must have a GPA of at least 3.3, be a full-time student and attend an accredited college or university in the United States during the 2013-2014 school year.
