Scholarship: The Vegetarian Resource Group

Amount: Two $5,000 college scholarships

Requirements: Must be a graduating U.S. high school student who has promoted vegetarianism in his/her school and/or community. Vegetarians do not eat meat, fish or fowl. Entries may only be sent by a student graduating from high school in spring 2014. Applicants will be judged on having shown compassion, courage and a strong commitment to promoting a peaceful world through a vegetarian diet/lifestyle.

Deadline: February 20, 2014. Early submission is encouraged.
