But, eating only food you prepare in your dorm isn’t an every-day option either. Udi’s, a top manufacturer of gluten-free products, has released a list of the top campuses for gluten-free eating.

If you are still looking for the perfect campus for you and have a gluten intolerance/allergy, consider these colleges for their gluten-free choices.

1. University of Notre Dame
Students have their own private dining area located within the main dining center where they can find everything they need to eat gluten free.

2. Georgetown University
Everything is labeled with a unique gluten-free logo to ensure safety and to avoid cross contamination.

3. Iowa State University
Each dining hall on campus is a gluten-free location and students have access to a designated area with its own refrigerator, freezer, dry storage, cooking utensils and small appliances.

4. University of Arizona
In addition to mandates in the dining hall, they also have the UA Gluten Free Club — a very active student group both on campus and in the greater community.

5. Emory University
Their staff stays in communication with students who have dietary restrictions. They are always looking for feedback on ways to improve an already great program. For example, everything on the salad bar and all salad dressing are gluten free.

To read the complete list and view more ways these and other colleges are making dietary restrictions easy on college campuses, see this article on the Udi’s website.
