Freebie Friday: Small space ideas for Halloween

It’s October, and if you’re like us, we are excited to start decorating for Halloween. As a high school or college student, you most likely are dealing with a pretty small space for decorating this year.

Our friends at Elmer’s Products have some fun ideas that help maximize the space that you do have.

door

Spooky Dorm Door Décor
Decorate the door to your room with Elmer’s Tri-Fold Display Board and adhesive that will peel away easily when the festivities end.

You’ll have the best door in the dorm!

spiderweb

Tangled Spider Webs – Set glitter webs on your table or hang them in your locker as sparkly decorations.

Use Elmer’s glue in a pattern and then sprinkle with glitter to create this fun and easy decoration. Once it sets, you’ll be able to use these glittered webs in so many ways.

glitter

Glittered Pumpkins – Add a little sparkle to your dorm with glittered pumpkins without the mess of carving.

Spray adhesive glue, like Elmer’s Craftbond or Multi-Purpose Spray  Adhesive make it easy to get a fully-coated glitter pumpkin. Just shake off the excess glitter and display proudly!

bats

Spooky Halloween Garland – Use an X-ACTO knife to cut out this festive garland and hang in your dorm, locker or in the hall.

There are many templates online for skulls, bats, pumpkins or flying witches that would work great for a customized spooky look to your Halloween decor.
