erskineErskine College is a private, religious, comprehensive higher education based system located in Due West, South Carolina. Founded in 1839 by the Associate Reformed Presbyterian Church, Erskine College is the oldest church-affiliated four-year college in South Carolina.

Academics
Ranked among the best National Liberal Arts Colleges in the U.S. News and World Report’s “America’s Best Colleges,” every student at Erskine College will have his or her own unique academic experience. The College offers over 20 degree programs which can be customized to your personal and career interests. Erskine College has a student-faculty ratio of 12:1 and takes pride in their faculty working with students beyond the classroom.

Campus life
Erskine College is a small campus with enrollment just under 600. Although the campus has a small community, the college offers more opportunity to get involved than one may think. Erskine has more than 40 clubs and organizations along with intramural sports. The college also competes in 15 intercollegiate sports at the NCAA Division II level. Students live in campus in six, gender specific, residence halls.  The Watkins Student Center serves as the main entertainment area on campus and includes a grill, rec area with pool tables, ping pong and Java City coffee shop.

Financial aid
Financially, the college is able to offer over 90% of students some form of financial assistance. The college has many scholarship opportunities ranging from academic and athletic talents to community service and dedication to the performing arts. Tuition for Erskine College is $30,550.00 with room and board costing $12,475.00, but the college states that most students end of paying less than $10,000.00 a year.
