College textbooks 101 and a chance to win!

We’ve been getting a lot of info lately on different ways to save money on your college textbooks. Here’s some of the info; you’re welcome!

Selling back your books?
Check out Better World Books. Enter your textbook’s ISBN code, print the mailing label, and mail.

Want to rent your books?
Check out Chegg.com or CampusBookRentals.com to rent your textbooks for a significant cost savings over buying them. At both of these places, it’s free to mail them back, too.

How about you—would you consider renting books? Or buying them/selling then back to someone other than your campus bookstore?

  1. If you want to sell or rent your books then use what i use…http://www.bigwords.com. They’re the best by far. I’ve used them multiple times and have always had success. I use them primarily for purchasing because they always find me the best deal but ive rented and sold books too. They search all the online textbook retailers, rental sites, and resellers. So regardless of the circumstances they’ll help you find the best deal and the most for your books that you choose to sell. Its wonderful.

I would consider renting textbooks because it seems like a great deal. I don’t have to pay the huge upfront cost, and i know that the company im getting them from will take them back. I hate getting stuck with textbooks at the end of the semester!

Love the blog, thanks for the textbook tip.
