How do you go from a dream of coming to United States to becoming one of the most successful fashion retail icons?
In an exclusive interview with Forbes magazine’s Grace Chung, Forever 21’s Don Won Chang (see today’s Forbes article: http://bit.ly/2dSYE6A) talks about how he started out working 19 hours a day in different jobs. He later went on to open a 900 square foot apparel store called Fashion 21 in Los Angeles with his wife Jin Sook, and within one year saw its sales go from $300,000 to $700,000 a year.
Today under the fashion flagship called Forever 21, the company employs 43,000 people in 790 stores in 48 countries and has $4.4 billion in sales.
