This week we’re touring Trinity Washington University in Washington, DC!
Trinity is located in the nation’s capital on a 26-acre campus, just minutes from the U.S. Capitol and downtown Washington, DC. Trinity is conveniently located on the Metro Red line and offers free Metro shuttle service to and from campus.
Average class size is 15. All classes are taught by faculty; 95% of Trinity’s full-time faculty have earned doctorate or equivalent degrees. Special opportunities include: Honors Program, Intelligence Center for Academic Excellence, Internships, Leadership Forums, Service Learning, Study Abroad.
Trinity’s athletic teams – Basketball, Field Hockey, Lacrosse, Soccer, Softball, Tennis and Volleyball- compete at the NCAA Division III level in the Atlantic Women’s Colleges Conference (AWCC). All Trinity students have full access to the new Trinity Center for Women and Girls in Sports, a $20 million, state-of-the-art athletic facility.
Trinity awards over $1 million in aid each year in addition to state and federal funding. We offer need-based and merit-based aid in amounts ranging from $1,000 to $12,000 per year. Each year, Trinity’s three schools enroll nearly 2,000 men and women of all ages from across the country and around the world. Nearly 3,000 teachers enroll annually in Trinity’s Professional Development Workshops.
