Today, we are taking a tour of Stevenson University, located near Baltimore, Maryland. Stevenson is a co-educational independent institution that blends liberal arts curriculum with exceptional career preparation.
While the University is based on two campuses, classes are kept small with a student to faculty ratio of 15:1. Home to the University’s state-of-the-art science laboratories, video and art studios, gymnasium, and 350-seat theatre, the Greenspring Campus is the academic hub of the University community. The Owing Mills campus offers the liveliness of a urban campus setting, featuring the Caves Sports and Wellness Center (former training facility of the Baltimore Ravens).
Stevenson boasts a widely acclaimed co-op/internship program, and a broad range of clubs and Division III athletics. Interesting majors include “Film, Video and Theatre,” where students prepare for a career in the area of their choice.
