Saint Martin’s University is a Catholic Benedictine four-year co-educational university in western Washington; where faith, reason, and service frame an educational experience. Students flourish at Saint Martin’s due to its sense of community, which results from its average class size of 12 students from various ethnic and religious backgrounds.
Saint Martin’s has 21 undergraduate programs in the liberal arts and professions, six graduate programs and numerous pre-professional and certification programs.
SMU is proud of its student-athletes and the success they enjoy in the classroom and on the playing fields and game courts. They represent our university’s balanced and successful athletic tradition and include soccer, volleyball, cross country, tennis, golf, basketball, baseball, softball, and track and field.
In keeping with our Benedictine heritage, Saint Martin’s University has a comprehensive financial aid program that helps every qualified student to pursue their educational and career goals. Our objective is to make Saint Martin’s University affordable. We offer competitive and renewable merit-based scholarships that honor academic rigor, service, athletics, leadership, Catholic school attendance and more.
Saint Martin’s University now utilizes the Common Application and has a holistic admission review process. While we require students to submit their SAT/ACT scores, high school GPA, an essay, official and sealed high school transcripts, school report form, and a letter of recommendation from a teacher or counselor, our goal is to understand you as a person and the extent to which Saint Martin’s University fits your needs and supports your goals. We do not require an application fee.
