Quinnipiac, founded in 1929, is a private, co-educational university, enrolling 6,000 undergraduate and 2,000 graduate and law students. An education at Quinnipiac embodies the university’s commitment to three important values: excellence in education, a student centered campus, and a spirit of community.
The University offers more than 50 undergraduate majors and 20 graduate programs in business, communications, health sciences, nursing, education, liberal arts and sciences, and law. Undergraduate programs at Quinnipiac offer a dynamic combination of classroom and hands-on learning through internships or clinical experiences designed to prepare students for career entry or advanced studies. Opportunities for student research as well as study abroad experiences further enhance students’ academic and personal growth at Quinnipiac.
With a student to faculty ratio of 16:1 and average class size of about 25, Quinnipiac provides an ideal environment where professors know their students by name and are readily accessible to each of them both in and out of the classroom.
Quinnipiac offers plenty of opportunities to get involved in campus life with more than 100 student clubs and organizations offering something for just about every interest, from academics to politics to community service and spiritual growth. Greek life is also available through nine national fraternities and sororities.
