Recently celebrating its 100th anniversary, Pennsylvania College of Technology is ranked among the top northern public colleges and is one of the nation’s top 100 associate degree producers. Its main campus is in Williamsport, (North Central Pennsylvania) just hours from Philadelphia, New York, Pittsburgh, and Washington, D.C. As a special mission affiliate of Penn State that is committed to applied technology education, Penn College offers bachelor, associate, and certificate majors to nearly 6,000 students.
These students can choose from more than 100 career fields ranging from manufacturing, design, transportation, and construction to hospitality, health, business, and natural resources. In addition, business/industry connections, national corporate sponsors, small classes, industry-standard equipment, and faculty with work experience contribute to strong graduate placement rates.
And a first-class education is not the only option available at Penn College. The school also offers more than 50 clubs and organizations, Greek life, leadership programs, campus events and intercollegiate and intramural athletics. There are 12 intercollegiate varsity sports, six club sports, and 30 intramural sports. Finally, Penn College includes on-campus housing accommodations for 1,700 students, and private, off-campus student housing is available near campus.
