Today, we are taking a virtual tour of Monroe Community College.
MCC’s main campus is located in Brighton, NY (minutes from the city of Rochester). Founded in 1962, MCC’s mission is to provide quality education and career training programs to a diverse community. Reflecting this, MCC offers degrees and certificates in more than 80 fields and programs. Flexible course scheduling and extension sites throughout the city allow you to go to college while balancing life at home or work.
Completing a two-year degree at MCC is not only affordable, but prepares you to continue your education at a four-year college or university. MCC grads have successfully transferred to over 400 different colleges including New York State schools (SUNY), Syracuse University, University of Rochester, Georgetown, Columbia, Cornell, UCLA, and Michigan State. The most popular programs include nursing and dental hygiene. Career training programs in fields such as HVAC and computer information systems prepare students to enter the work force upon completion of the two-year program.
