Today we are touring Keuka College located in Keuka Park, N.Y.!
Located on the shores of Keuka Lake in New York State’s Finger Lakes region, Keuka College is a private, four-year, residential, coeducational college that places a strong emphasis on career and pre-professional education.
Keuka College is dedicated to helping every student find the right path post-graduation. No other college in the country can match Keuka when it comes to integrating hands-on learning experiences into your academic program. Keuka College can guarantee you will complete a 140-hour Field Period internship every year, starting your freshman year. And you have almost limitless choices of what to do and where to do it. Keuka students have completed Field Periods in more than 2,500 locations worldwide.
In addition, Keuka College offers 32 bachelor’s degree programs (many with specialized concentrations), 26 minors, and self-designed majors. Keuka also offers seven master’s degree programs and pre-professional programs in dentistry, law, medicine, veterinary medicine, optometry, pharmacy, and physical therapy.
Community service has been part and parcel of the Keuka experience since it was founded. In fact, all of the 40-odd clubs are currently required to conduct at least one community service project each semester. Keuka also offers 16 intercollegiate sports and a variety of intramural and club sports.
Six residence halls and apartment-style living for select students dot Keuka’s 212-acre campus. Facilities of note include Jephson Science Center, a state-of-the-art facility featuring a greenhouse, Dahlstrom Student Center—which houses the Geiser Refectory and student organization offices—and the 34-acre Jephson Community Athletic Complex.
