Today, NextStepU would like to take you on a tour of Keuka College.
Located on the shores of Keuka Lake in New York state’s Finger Lakes region, Keuka College is an independent, four-year, residential, coeducational college that places a strong emphasis on career and pre-professional education.
The college offers 33 bachelor’s degree programs, many with specialized concentrations; 24 minors; and self-designed majors. Keuka also offers four master’s degree programs and pre-professional programs in dentistry, law, medicine, and veterinary medicine.
Community service has been part and parcel of the Keuka experience since it was founded and today, each of the some 40 clubs are required to conduct at least one community service project each semester. Keuka offers 15 intercollegiate sports and a variety of intramural sports.
Six residence halls dot Keuka’s 212-acre campus. Facilities of note include Jephson Science Center, a state-of-the-art facility that includes a greenhouse and the 34-acre Jephson Community Athletic Complex.
Each year, Keuka awards more than $7 million in grants and scholarships. In addition to the standard federal and state programs available to all students, Keuka offers grants and many guaranteed scholarships.
