Today we are touring Genesee Community College located in Batavia, N.Y.
Genesee Community College is located in the scenic Genesee Valley in upstate New York, Genesee Community College has seven campus locations (Albion, Arcade, Batavia, Dansville, Lima, Medina and Warsaw).
Many of their attending students seamlessly transfer their GCC / SUNY credits for a bachelor’s (or higher) degree, others advance their skill set for immediate employment and using GCC’s hands-on learning opportunities and the dynamic co-op program to get there.
Perhaps most striking about GCC’s academic life are the small, classes with personal attention from instructors, and the high-tech learning environment. No matter what your interests are, there is likely a student club or organization available to quench and expand your interests… while making new friends along the way!
There are 12 sports teams, specifically baseball and softball; men and women’s basketball, soccer and lacrosse; women’s volleyball; golf; swimming and diving; and cheerleading.
As you can see, this community college has a lot to offer any student!
