Each First Year student attends a full-year, student-centered learning program. Every full-time undergraduate receives a laptop computer, offering the opportunity to engage in a uniquely connected on-campus educational experience.
Campus Life
All Centenary College freshmen participate in our First Year Experience, a year-long program designed to help you bridge the transition from high school to college.
Centenary provides a number of academic success services, health and counseling services, campus-wide security, outstanding dining, comfortable residences and dorms, career services, intramural sports, social activities, clubs, sororities and fraternities, community service projects, academic organizations, and special campus events.
Facilities and Resources
Centenary has been renovating and expanding its facilities, offering students technologically sophisticated classrooms and new laboratory buildings. The college’s 65-acre equestrian center is located 15 minutes from the campus. The school recently opened two new suite styled residence halls. The Reeves Athletic Center was updated and expanded in 2007.
Athletics / Sports
Centenary students enjoy a full range of extracurricular activities including 14 NCAA Division III intercollegiate varsity athletic teams for both men and women. There are also a variety of seasonal intramural activities.
Financial Aid / Tuition
Centenary disbursed more than $11 million of financial aid to eligible students during 2007-2008 with about 85% of our students receiving some form of assistance. The College believes that individuals in pursuit of higher education should attain their goals regardless of financial need and our office assists students in every way to make their education affordable.
