At Barry University, you have many opportunities to deepen your education. In addition to more than 75 majors and specializations, Barry offers an Honors Program that engages you with classes in culture and philosophy. You have the opportunity to intern at one of the 700 multinational corporations in Miami. You conduct your own research and present your findings at a national conference. You earn your master’s degree with just one extra year of study. Barry offers seamless five-year bachelor’s to master’s degree programs in fields such as education, sports management, and social work. And with Barry’s focus on service learning, you can make the world a better place.
At Barry, you live in one of 10 residence halls on campus. You express yourself and develop valuable leadership skills — after all, you can choose from more than 60 student organizations on campus. In addition, the university provides the resources you need to help make your time here a successful one. You check out a laptop from one of the new kiosks at the Monsignor William Barry Memorial Library. At the R. Kirk Landon Student Union, you speak to a Career Services counselor to help you map a career plan, fine-tune your resumé, or improve your interview skills. You produce a show at the David Brinkley Television Studio or the WBRY radio station. The university also has multimedia classrooms and labs dedicated to specific majors such as biology, chemistry, exercise science, and graphic design.
