Are you nervous about making the transition from high school studying to college studying? Well you are not alone. Here is the good news: If you use these apps and tips to stay organized and on top of your studying, college tests will be no big deal.
gFlashPro—Flashcards & Tests
gFlashPro allows you to create digital flashcards to help you study for anything from a weekly quiz to an important midterm. You can create, edit, review and save the cards right from your phone. Using this app instead of paper flashcards will save you space and will end any confusion. (For example: I have at least 10 stacks of flashcards in my desk at this moment. It’s hard to keep straight which stack is for which class.)
**Tip: Keep your classes in separate categories and keep adding to the flashcards after each lecture. That way, you will always have up-to-date study materials. And you won’t have to take a bunch of time filling out the cards the night before the exam.
Any.DO—Task & To-do List
Any.Do helps you remember all the things you need to complete and will remind you of their deadlines. Its features include time and location reminders, folders, notes, repeating tasks, calendar view and seamless cloud sync. Since college is an endless parade of assignments, meetings, deadlines, events and tests, you will need a trusty device to remind you of everything you need to get done.
**Tip: Update Any.Do when you receive your syllabi at the beginning of the semester. Go through and enter in all the due dates and assignments as soon as you find out about them. Doing so will help you map out exactly how much work you have and how much free time there will be. When your friends want to make plans, you will be happy that you have Any.Do on your side.
