The new school year is upon us! (You know how much you missed it). We thought we’d celebrate the new year with a quiz all you college-bound students might actually want to take: how should you decorate your dorm room? Answer our questions below and find out your results at the end. We’ll even give you a DIY idea to personalize your dorm style!

RESULTS:
Mostly A’s: You should go for a classic, nautical style for your dorm room! Think white and navy with pops of red and plenty of rope detailing and, of course, anchors. Add some string lights or personalize your room with nautical bunting (basically flags on a string…trust us it looks really cool!) or a rope picture frame; they’re small details but they’ll really make your room unique.
Mostly B’s: You might like a laid-back, country cottage look to your dorm! Try some classic gingham bedsheets or curtains and add some string lights and plants (real or fake!) for a natural, classic country look. If you want to add a little antique touch, make your own antique-looking mirror or sign that you can personalize with any saying that you want!
Mostly C’s: You might want to personalize your dorm with a little bit of an edgy touch. Keep 
your bedding simple with a black and white bed set and add cool details like studding or lace (perhaps on a pillow?) in a color like red or gold to get that extra edge. Decorate your walls with personal details like concert tickets (make a cool collage out of all the concerts you’ve been to) or make your own at-home artwork with melted crayons.
Mostly D’s: You’ve clearly got a preppy, girly style so your dorm should reflect that! 
Have fun with pink, but don’t go overboard otherwise you might be feeling a little Pepto-Bismol. Instead, accent your pinks and purples with some silver and black; they’re neutrals that will done down, but won’t take away from, your main color. Make your own pillow (perhaps in a sparkly silver?) or a multi-color paper chandelier and give your roommates serious dorm envy.
