Today we are featuring one of our NextStepU Teen Ambassadors, Jessica Caldwell! Jessica is a Senior at Metro Career Academy in Oklahoma. 1. What interests (or major) do you want to pursue in college?
I am planning to pursue Mass Communications and Journalism. Getting my first poem published is part of my motivation!
2. What is your dream career?
Having my own talk show is my dream, and I idolize Jeff Probst as a host. I love to share stories and give advice, so a career as a talk show host would allow me to do both!
3. What do you look forward to most about going to college?
I see college as a fresh start. You get a new GPA, new teachers, and a chance to really find yourself. College forces you to be independent and follow your dreams, which is what I plan to do!
4. What are your favorite hobbies?
I have several hobbies, but my favorites involve using my creativity. I like hobbies that force me explore new things!
5. What’s the best part about being a NextStepU Teen Ambassador?
The best part about being a NextStepU Teen Ambassador is lending others my advice. It’s a great honor to be a part of this board and share my thoughts.
