Scholarship: Dr. Alma S. Adams Scholarship for Outreach and Health Communications to Reduce Tobacco Use Among Priority Populations
Amount: Two scholarships of $5,000 will be awarded to support students pursuing undergraduate or graduate study at an accredited institution of higher learning in the U.S. Funds may be used for tuition, books and related living expenses.
About the scholarship: This annual scholarship competition empowers and supports students eager to help Truth Initiative achieve a generation for whom tobacco use is a thing of the past. Scholarship awards recognize individuals who demonstrate commitment to community service and use the creative arts to help reduce tobacco use in priority populations.
Deadline: Applications will be accepted until April 30, 2016. Awardees will be notified by June 30, 2016.
