Position Title: Marketing/Product Management Intern
Carolina Pad is a leading supplier of fashion accessories to retailers worldwide. We are currently looking for summer 2014 Marketing and Product Management interns to join our high-energy team of talented individuals working on the Studio C brand.
Location: Charlotte, NC
Job Description: The position offers a great opportunity to learn virtually all facets of our fast-paced business. The successful candidates will be comfortable navigating across multiple departments and individuals to accomplish the goals in the following ways:
• Conduct and analyze market research to develop product line strategy
• Develop content for all designated social media outlets; research new blogs and/or social media trends relevant to our industry
• Analyze the competitive landscape through regular retail audits
• Assist with product development, merchandising, and line planning
• Maintain material and spec libraries needed for item creation
• Handle day-to-day details that arise throughout the product life cycle including administrative tasks
• Collaborate with cross-functional team to research and resolve a business challenge and present to senior management.
Requirements: All applicants must be enrolled in a college or university and able to receive course credit. There may be an opportunity for a paid internship depending on an individual’s level of experience.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office is required
• Attention to detail, organizational and solid communication skills are essential
• Previous internship experience is a plus
• Positive, can-do attitudes are a must

• Assist with general design process from conception of idea to final sample
• Create inspiration/mood boards and conduct trend/market research
• Work with creative team on placing artwork on templates and packaging
• Help with administrative tasks as needed
Requirements: All applicants must be enrolled in a college or university and able to receive course credit. There may be an opportunity for a paid internship depending on an individual’s level of experience.
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite is required
• Attention to detail, organizational and solid communication skills are essential
• Previous internship experience is a plus
