Lawrence Technological University is a private, personally-focused college providing students a rigorous, high-quality education. Most students are employed within one month of graduating. Lawrence Tech offers more than 100 undergraduate and graduate programs in the Colleges of Architecture and Design, Arts and Sciences, Engineering, and Management. All of these programs feature exceptional exposure to theory and practice. The university offers small class sizes, with lectures, classes, and labs taught by faculty with current industry experience. Courses are available on days, evenings, weekends and online.
More than 60 student clubs and organizations, including a pep band, dance team, fraternities, sororities, honor societies, and student chapters of professional groups, are active on Lawrence Tech’s 102-acre campus. LTU’s dynamic athletic program includes National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics men’s and women’s basketball, soccer, lacrosse and cross country, to name just a few. Intramural leagues feature sports like badminton, basketball, soccer, softball, tennis and volleyball. The Don Ridler Field House, with its fitness track, gymnasium, racquetball courts, saunas, and game, weight, and conditioning rooms, is available to all LTU students.
The university also has two residence halls, featuring one- and two-bedroom apartment-style suites. All dorms provide wireless Internet access, basic cable TV, and individual phone lines with voicemail. Lawrence Tech’s unique LTuZone program provides all undergraduates with high-end laptops or tablets customized with industry-standard software required for each course — a unique benefit valued up to $15,000.
