Scholarship Saturday — Press the President

NextStepU is happy to help guide you toward scholarships and opportunities to earn money for college. Here is a new scholarship we found for you!

Scholarship: Press the President, a worldwide forum for unfiltered debate about U.S. issues affecting the globe.

Amount: The top three winning entries will receive a $500, $250, or a $125 scholarship

Requirements: Students attending a college or university at the associate, bachelor, master, or doctorate degree level are eligible to participate.
• The length of submissions is between 500 and 800 words.
• The submission form will require an “.edu” email and all finalists will be vetted to ensure they are currently enrolled at a college or university.

Details: Entries will be judged on the following merits:
• How well they are written.
• The ability of the author to persuade the reader.
• Journalistic integrity of the article to include important information.

Deadline:  The submission deadline is December 31, 2013.
