Carson-Newman is located on a 90-acre campus commanding the highest point in Jefferson City, Tenn., population 7,500, surrounded by rolling pastureland. It is located 30 minutes from Knoxville, Tenn.
The campus consists of 22 major buildings, most of them neo-Georgian architecture, including a new Family and Consumer Sciences Building and Business Building.
Carson-Newman offers NCAA Division II Intercollegiate Athletics. Men’s sports include Baseball, Basketball, Cross Country, Football, Golf, Soccer, Tennis, Track and Wrestling. Women’s sports include Basketball, Cross Country, Soccer, Softball, Tennis, Track and Volleyball.
Over $ 7 million in grants, scholarships, loans, and work-study programs, with more than 85 percent of the student body receiving assistance.
